MOGUATE 2012 FEE UPDATE:

Here are the fees for MOGUATE 2012. These are all "a la carte" - so you choose what best suits your family.

The registration form will come out in mid-June and the registration form & payment of fees will be due on JULY 1st.

T-SHIRTS: (they are in the process of being designed and the first draft is AWESOME and I can't wait to post a pic!!) $10 for all sizes up to 2XL and those are $12 each. The shirts will be MAILED TO YOUR HOME in mid-July. Shipping is included in that $10. If I have an overage, the proceeds will be donated to the Affording Adoption Foundation.

FRIDAY LUNCH at Miner Mike's: $13 for children, $4 for adults

SATURDAY DINNER: Mexican Buffet & drinks at Tan-tar-a: $7 for children, $10 for adults

SATURDAY WISE UP workshop after dinner (more info coming later): Free Workshop, but if you want a workbook, they will be between $12-15 each. I'm still working with the Center for Adoption Support and Education on the pricing.

If you use Paypal for payment, you will be responsible for paying any necessary fees, or you can mail a check. All of that info will be on the Registration Form. I'll post the Registration form HERE and on our Facebook page in mid-June.

MOGUATE 2012 Activity Update!

Hola Familias!!

I have been working on some COOL things for MOGUATE 2012 and I wanted to tell you about one of them!

Our schedule will change a little this year. You spoke and I listened: the Pizza Dinner Buffet on the verrrry warm Black Bear Deck has been replaced with a LUNCH EXTRAVAGANZA at Miner Mike's on Friday, August 3 between 11:00 am - 2:00 pm!!

We will have discounted packages available for family members that include pizza, drink, and a game package. And parents play for FREE! (other than the games that take tokens)

Adults: 1 slice of pizza and a large drink = $4.00 (regular price $5.50)

Kids: 1 slice of pizza and a drink + UNLIMITED ride band (check out their website for alllll the fun stuff they can do!!) = $13 (regularly $19.50)
You can also purchase 20 tokens for $5 - that's like getting 5 tokens for FREE!

Even if you won't be there by Friday lunchtime, you can use the card ANY TIME during MOGUATE weekend!

Won't this be funnnnn?????? I'm super excited and thankful to Miner Mike's for offering us such a great deal!

PS This will be one of the a la carte items offered this year. :) So - you don't HAVE to, but why WOULDN'T you!? :)

I will be posting the Registration Form in the next few weeks and the deadline will be JULY 1st. As mentioned before, you'll have more OPTIONS this year - it won't be a packaged deal like before.

Hola MOGUATE Families!

I am working on the Registration Form, but I have to tie up a few loose ends before I can publish it and you can all start registering.

I am planning to have Registration open sometime in May/early June.

I AM working on some "a la cart" options this year - which is why it may take me a little longer to get the Registration done. If anyone knows of a good option for online registration forms other than jotform and wufoo, please let me know. That seems to be the trickiest part every year!

MOGUATE 2011 "Schedule"

2011 marks our 5th Annual MOGUATE Weekend Retreat! 

We hope that the weekend will be full of fun times, meeting new friends and making some great memories with your family!

Here is the schedule for the weekend. Please enjoy lots of “down time” at either of the pools at the resort. The main pool with the waterslide, zero-entry pool and the hot tub is the Arrowhead Pool located at the bottom of the hill. There is also a smaller pool, called the Tradewinds Pool located across the street from Burger King. The group “hang-out” is at the Arrowhead Pool.

Breakfast and lunch are on your own each day. There is a Burger King and a Sbarro on site, and the Black Bear Lodge Restaurant, as well as hot dogs and sandwiches at the Jetty Bar poolside. There are also many local restaurants within a few miles of the resort. The rooms have small fridges in them, if you want to bring food for the weekend. 

CHECK-IN: When you drive into the resort - just tell the guard that you are checking in as a guest, then go to the main lobby. Be sure to ask for your MOGUATE bag when you check in. Your shirts and other goodies will be in there - so don’t forget! :)

THURSDAY:  7 pm: Meet & Greet in Room *1603 in Building E (across from where you check in). Bring your own snacks & drinks if you want - this is a casual reception for those who have already arrived. There is a kitchen area in this room, so feel free to use the refrigerator. 
*We are on a different floor this year - so please note the change in our room*

FRIDAY:  Breakfast Buffet is available at the Black Bear Lodge for those interested. They should have tables available in the Stream Room for MOGUATE attendees from 8:00-10:00 am on Friday and Saturday mornings - come at your leisure. 

**Tables cannot be guaranteed during the busiest times of the morning - so be prepared to wait, but mention you are with MOGUATE and you may get a table sooner. Cost for the buffet is $12.95/adults and 1/2 price for children ages 5-12. Kids under 4 are free. Tax & gratuity are extra.

Spend the day poolside, or exploring the resort. See the concierge for Resort activities. 

FRIDAY DINNER: 6 pm: Mexican Buffet catered by Tan-tar-a

LOCATION: Building D in the Northwinds Meeting Room

The Guate Mall will be open before &/or after dinner

Check out and then come meet at the pool if you can. There is usually a large group of “stragglers” at the pool who try to squeeze in every moment of MOGUATE possible!
