WHAT IS MOGUATE?

We are a group of families who have been blessed with children from Guatemala. Each year, we will meet at the Tan-tar-a Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks for a fun-filled weekend together.

Do you HAVE to live in Missouri to come to MOGUATE?
Nope... you can be from anywhere - but the annual event will take place in Missouri

What if we have children who are NOT from Guatemala? (children adopted domestically or from a country other than Guatemala, or who were not adopted)
Being from Guatemala is NOT a requirement! We welcome ALL families, no matter how they were formed!

What if our family can't attend the entire weekend? That's ok! Just make your reservations for the nights you CAN attend!

What can we expect? What you will NOT experience is tight schedules of numerous events! Just come and relax by the pool getting to know other parents and their children! We will have dinner together on Friday and Saturday nights and the rest of the time we'll just sit by the pool!
